Kell Brook.  Age 26.  No world title fight yet.  Age 26!  Kell Brook has been around forever!  Hasn’t he?

By the age of 26:  Naseem Hamed has been in 14 world title fights.  Floyd Mayweather Jr. had been in 12 world title fights.  By that age Manny Pacquiao had been fighting in world title fights for six years.

Brook should beat his next opponent, Hector Saldivia, and hopefully this ‘world title eliminator’ fight should lead to a title shot against Randall Bailey or Devon Alexander.

That Kell Brook and his team turned down a marquee world title fight against P4P top-10 fighter Tim Bradley says it all.  Eddie Hearn and Kell Brook don’t think they’d win that fight.  They’d rather fight at home, and hopefully it will be against Ricky Hatton, Amir Khan, or Paulie Malignaggi.

Brook and Hearn are ready to make some money in Sheffield, and good luck to them.  Boxing is a tough game.

However, Brook is not world class until he fights the best – Manny, Floyd, or even a notch down…Bradley.
